Detailed Climbing Itinerary: Lobuche Peak Expedition

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m/4,428ft)

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. After check-in, you can relax or explore the vibrant streets of Kathmandu. In the evening, attend a welcome dinner with a briefing about the expedition.

Day 02: Trip Preparation

Today is dedicated to final preparations for the climb. You will meet your guides, check your climbing gear, and attend a briefing session. You can also explore Kathmandu’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Day 03: Fly to Lukla (2,860m/9,383ft), Trek to Phakding (2,651m/8,700ft)

We take an exhilarating 35-minute flight to Lukla. From there, we trek through picturesque villages, crossing suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi River, to reach Phakding.

Day 04: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,280ft)

The trail ascends through forests and villages, crossing several suspension bridges. The climb to Namche Bazaar is steep but rewarding, with your first glimpses of Everest.

Day 05: Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar

To adjust to the altitude, we spend a day in Namche Bazaar. You can take short hikes to nearby viewpoints such as Syangboche or visit the local market and museums.

Day 06: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,870m/12,694ft)

The trail offers stunning views of Everest, Ama Dablam, and Thamserku. We descend to the Dudh Koshi River before a steep climb to Tengboche, home to a famous monastery.

Day 07: Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4,360m/14,300ft)

The trail passes through rhododendron forests and crosses the Imja Khola. As we climb higher, the landscape becomes more rugged, leading to Dingboche, known for its panoramic mountain views.

Day 08: Acclimatization Day in Dingboche

Today is spent acclimatizing in Dingboche. You can hike up to Nagarjun Hill for breathtaking views of Makalu, Lhotse, and other peaks, or simply rest.

Day 09: Trek from Dingboche to Thukla (4,730m/15,518ft)

The trail gradually ascends through a high-altitude desert landscape. We reach Thukla, where you can see memorials dedicated to climbers who lost their lives in the Himalayas.

Day 10: Trek from Thukla to Lobuche Base Camp (4,915m/16,732ft)

The trail becomes steeper as we approach Lobuche Base Camp. The journey is marked by stunning views of Nuptse, Pumori, and Lobuche Peak itself.

Day 11: Lobuche Base Camp to High Camp (5,350m/17,552ft)

We ascend to High Camp, setting up closer to the summit. The climb involves technical sections, and guides will assist in preparing for the summit attempt.

Day 12: Summit Lobuche Peak (6,119m/20,075ft) and Return to High Camp

Summit day begins early, around 2:00 AM. Using ropes and crampons, we make our way up the steep slopes to the summit. After celebrating on the summit, we descend back to High Camp.

Day 13: Trek from High Camp to Pheriche (4,290m/14,075ft), then to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,280ft)

We descend rapidly, retracing our steps through Pheriche and the lush trails to Namche Bazaar. The day is long but downhill trekking makes it manageable.

Day 14: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2,860m/9,383ft)

The final day of trekking takes us back to Lukla. Celebrate the completion of your adventure with the trekking team in the evening.
